Hindistan\u2019da yokluk i\u00e7inde ve geleneklerine ba\u011fl\u0131 yeti\u015fen Srinivasa Ramanujan\u2019\u0131n (1887-1920) hayat\u0131n\u0131 konu alan ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 bir biyografi filmi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ramanujan \u00e7\u00f6zd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc baz\u0131 form\u00fclleri, Cambridge\u2019de matematik\u00e7i Godfrey Hardy\u2019ye g\u00f6nderir. Hardy, bu form\u00fcllerin ispatlanmas\u0131 i\u00e7in kendisini \u0130ngiltere\u2019ye davet eder. Beyin g\u00f6\u00e7\u00fc ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ramanujan\u2019\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fck umutlarla ve sevin\u00e7le \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131 bu ser\u00fcven, kendini kan\u0131tlama ve varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kabul ettirme m\u00fccadelesine d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcr. Y\u0131llard\u0131r \u00fclkesini s\u00f6m\u00fcren \u0130ngiltere\u2019nin en g\u00f6zde \u00fcniversitesi olan Cambridge \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyelerinin ba\u011fnaz-kat\u0131-gelenek\u00e7i tutumlar\u0131na maruz kal\u0131r. Birinci engel beyaz-\u0131rk\u00e7\u0131 kafa yap\u0131s\u0131d\u0131r. Akademisyenlere g\u00f6re, Ramanujan\u2019\u0131n geldi\u011fi topraklar kendilerine ait ve oradaki insanlar\u0131n efendileri! Ramanujan, Tanr\u0131\u2019n\u0131n kendisiyle matematiksel konu\u015ftu\u011funu iddia eder ve tamamen sezgilere dayanarak \u201cb\u00f6l\u00fcnebilirlik\u201d denklemini \u00e7\u00f6zer. Akademisyenlerin bunu kabul etmesi zordur. Beethoven\u2019in, 10. Senfonisini notalara d\u00f6kmeden \u00f6nce duydu\u011funu s\u00f6yledi\u011fini hat\u0131rlarsak e\u011fer asl\u0131nda Ramanujan\u2019\u0131 anlamam\u0131z m\u00fcmk\u00fcnd\u00fcr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Filmin alt metninde din-bilim \u00e7at\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 da yer buluyor kendine. Nitekim Ramanujan\u2019\u0131n Kraliyet Akademisine \u00fcye se\u00e7ilmesi i\u00e7in yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 konu\u015fma bir hayli dikkat \u00e7ekici;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 -Saf matematik i\u00e7in \u00f6ne s\u00fcrd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz mazeret bu de\u011fil mi? Bizler kesin m\u00fckemmeliyetin pe\u015finde, sonsuzlu\u011fu dola\u015fan k\u00e2\u015fifleriz. Bu form\u00fclleri bizler icat etmedik, bunlar zaten var.
